Silver and Turquoise Enamel ROM Earrings

The enamelled silver ROM dangle earrings have a unique curved shaped almost like the petal of a flower. Every piece in this collection is forged before applying the enamel so no two pieces are exactly alike. The ROM collection is inspired by old scent containers, or pomanders as they’re also called. As part of the folklore of Norway, these containers were used to protect the superstitious, and their specific shape enhanced the magical effect. This collection gives us a glimpse into a world, and a time, that is now long forgotten.
The curved enamel silver bottom is connected to a circular gilded silver disk that goes against the earlobe and holds the post.
